Edgewater, Fla. (Sep 17, 2015) - Boston Whaler has been recognized for excellence in customer service for the 12th year in a row, earning a 2015 Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA). One of only 45 recipients nationwide to receive this honor, Boston Whaler earned its award in the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category during the recent 2015 International BoatBuilders Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Louisville, Ky.
“We’re extremely proud to have received this award for the twelfth straight year,” said Huw Bower, president of Boston Whaler. “This achievement is a tribute not only to our world-class dealer network, but also our loyal customers, who’ve remained our focus since building that first unsinkable boat. I’m confident we’ll continue this trend for many years to come.”
The CSI Awards measure customer satisfaction, only recognizing boat and engine manufacturers that receive the highest marks. To satisfy the requirements for the Marine Industry CSI Awards, Boston Whaler achieved and maintained an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year. This score is based on information provided directly by nearly 60,000 consumers who purchased a new boat or engine during the period from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015.
"This achievement is a tribute not only to our world-class dealer network, but also our loyal customers, who've remained our focus since building that first unsinkable boat. I'm confident we'll continue this trend for many years to come."
