Boston Whaler’s commitment to Core Confidence was on full display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, an annual event that draws boaters from around the world. With models from across the lineup available to step aboard and explore, visitors to Whaler’s indoor display at the Convention Center and on-water display at the Bahia Mar Marina were treated to the full Whaler experience.
For starters, the newest members of the legendary Outrage series were a highlight. The new 230, 250, 280 and 330 Outrage feature Boston Whaler’s unique variable-deadrise V-hull and Unibond construction, delivering the softest, safest, driest ride on the water.
Plus, these confident offshore performers are designed to be equally appealing for entertaining, with comfort-minded amenities and plush seating galore. Guests were heard remarking that the 230 Outrage felt remarkably spacious for its size, inspired by advances seen in its “big sibling,” the flagship 420 Outrage, also present in Fort Lauderdale.
Other popular models at the show included the multifunctional 270 Dauntless, with a swim patio that has earned raves from boaters and the media alike; the versatile, dual-console 320 Vantage; and the Innovation Award-winning 345 Conquest, with its automatically-convertible Dynamic Cabin System.
Representatives from Boston Whaler, including President Nick Stickler and Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service Jeff Vaughn, were present to answer questions and share a preview of what’s to come from Whaler in 2017.
Fans of the annual Bimini Rendezvous were encouraged to “save the date” for a week of fun in the sun this summer in the Bahamas, and tech-lovers discussed the latest advances in propulsion, navigation and performance from Mercury, Raymarine and Seakeeper.
“Fort Lauderdale is an important event for Boston Whaler, and this year we enjoyed a very positive reception from our customers and the boating media,” said Vaughn. “Attendance was strong, enthusiasm was high, and the forecast for 2017 looks bright.”
